Be My Valentine...
Before February ends I'll reminiscence a bit back to the 14th...Valentine's Day. We had a busy week with work plus the holiday was falling on a weekend this year which screamed out "crowds" to Jake! I decided to throw a dinner party at my house instead of going out for the night. We woke up and had a lazy morning, made some desserts for that night, started on dinner, and even dipped some fresh strawberries in chocolate. We had our own little Valentine's Day dinner with candles, roses, family and friends! We might just have to start a new tradition...

I vote 'yes' for the new tradition! It was a wonderful evening and you are a great cook. I am sure your Dad will be happy to foot the bill for the continuance of this one! Thanks for the memories!
I think that is an awesome idea! We didn't go out this year either. I love just taking the time to spend with friends and family on Love Day instead of getting caught up in the commercialism of the day.
