Bad Race!

Ok, there's been no race weekend update because no one has wanted to talk about it! It was not a great race for Carswell Motorsports in Kenley, NC. Practice started out and ended OK, but qualifying didn't go well, and it went downhill from there. The best news is that we didn't tear up the car too bad, and we got home safe! Now on to the next race in Hickory, NC on August 4th. Pray for a much better weekend!

Xtreme Summer 2007

We have been having Xtreme Summer this week in PCB. There are over 600 teens here this week, and the conference has gone great! NewSong did their concert tonight, Dad preaches again in the morning, then it's over. We head out tomorrow night to Kenly, NC for our next Hooters Pro Cup race. Thank the Lord for a smooth camp this week and more great weather!

Lil' Driver Finishes 2nd in July 14th Race

Little man raced in his 3rd race this past Saturday in Cumming, GA. There were 5 cars in his division and he finished 2nd in the race. Way to go! He is really enjoying this new hobby!

She's Back Home!

Miss Priss has returned from her 1st Summer Camp and hasn't stopped talking about how great it was since she got off the bus! She had an absolute blast. I sent a disposable camera with her and of course she used all the film. As soon as we get back pictures we'll try and post some. She is already talking about next years' camp!

Summer Camp

"The Princess" left Monday morning with 250 kids from First Baptist Woodstock headed for Children's Camp. She was unbelievably exciting about going. This is her first year being the right age to attend. They went to Horn's Creek Camp in Ocoee, TN for 4 nights. I know she is having a blast, but her Mom is missing her! She has spent the night off and we have left her with the grandparents, but she has never left us! We'll let you know how it all goes!

When Deanna Tries to be Athletic!

Jake and I have been riding our bicycles in the mornings while we have been at the beach. Jake had to go back to Woodstock for a day, so Lindsey and I rode together. I was trying to be really careful crossing the road, ran off the uneven side, and next thing I know I have fallen off my bike head first and landed in this bush with the bike on top of me! Yes, I'm alive still, but barely!! I couldn't get up for laughing so hard, and Lindsey was about to pee in her pants she was laughing so hard at me! Cars started blowing their horns at us and hollering out their windows. It was too funny. I guess we made some people's morning, but most of all we made ourselves yet another "memory".

It's Summertime!

This has to be our favorite season all year. All the seasons bring fun times, but summer is all about the beach and the sunshine! We are sitting on the balcony of our condo now looking over the ocean. We could do this year round and never get sick of it, I think. Come see us down here in PCB!!
