Back Down to 4

Our 3rd child went back to her "other" parents today. It's pretty quiet around here tonight without her here entertaining us! Jake has used several of her sayings and expressions for us tonight in her absence. I'm sure she's not gone for too long...she'll be back!

98 Finishes 6th

Not a win yet, but not a wrecked car this week either, thank goodness! It was a great weekend at the racetrack. We brought back the car all in one piece which makes it extra great. Lindsey and Taylor flew back in from their honeymoon and made it for the race. Mom was there as usual and Dad was able to come since he's taken the month of July off. Most races are Saturday nights and hours away from GA, so Dad doesn't get to come to all of them, but all he can work out to get to he does! Taylor's parents came over from Myrtle Beach, and were able to be at their 1st race. Well, at least their 1st time to one of our races. My Uncle Greg came and brought a friend along too. Jen, we missed you again!! No more excused absences for you the rest of the season! :)

6th place, family, tons of FUN!!

Lindsey and Taylor Dorner asleep the morning after 1st night sleeping together on the motorhome! Finally, they can sleep together!

Almost Caught Up

I've been so behind with getting all my pictures posted from the wedding weekend. I think that's it for now, though.
Hollie and Pete went away after the wedding for a trip to celebrate their anniversary, so I kept Addie Bug while they were away. I guess having an extra munchkin around kept me busy!
After the wedding we took a trip of our own to Myrtle Beach for the week. We had a crew there. It was me, Jake, our 3 kids (for the week), Mom, Dad, Hopie, Dan, Lisa, 2 of their kids, Greg, Julie, and their 3 kids. We had a blast hanging out on the beach during the day, eating out, and cooking out one of the nights for Dad's birthday. All the kids played until they could barely stand up at night! The ocean was rougher than usual due to the tropical storm off of Bermuda, so that made for some fun waves, for the boys mainly, although the girls enjoyed it some too. One of the nights we headed over to the new Hard Rock Park. Not everyone could hang when it came to the amusement park, so us and the Dorners made a night of it. Well, actually into the morning hours considering we didn't leave the park until it closed at 1:00am! Fun, fun!!

Nothing like hanging out with FAMILY!

"Look Mommy how dirty I am!!"

Fun night out!
Hold on!

Addie almost rode the kiddie roller coaster, but no it didn't happen!

Here Comes The Bride

Here's where it became official!
Doesn't she look pretty? All the girlies!
Lindsey patiently waiting until it's time to do the thang! Somehow she remained cool and calm all day.
Taylor waiting, but a little on the nervous and anxious side!

After the Party It's the After Party....

Break it down!
Shake what yo momma gave you, Robbie!
It was getting pretty late!
Pete busting a move!
Smile Leanne and BJ!

Where in all this madness was the beautiful Bride?? At home getting her beauty sleep! No sleep for us until the early morning hours! We all had fun dancing, and did I mention it was also Taylor's birthday? Yep, his birthday was the day before his wedding day. Good way to remember his anniversary in years to come. Now, on to the wedding day!

Hold Up, Wait a Minute...

Before July 17th, 2008 is over I gotta give a big shout out to my Dad on his birthday! Happy, Happy, Birthday Daddy!!!
We've had a fun, relaxing day on the beach today, then ended the day with a birthday cook-out and yummy cake. Don't worry presents were included! :) We all love Dad, hope he had a great day, and many, many more!
