We love the weekends!
Today we are finishing up recording and duplicating for a conference at FBCW. We won't be finished until late tonight, but early in the morning we'll head to Panama City Beach for a long weekend. There's no school on Monday, so we have an extra day. We're looking forward to relaxing and unwinding for a few days. Hoping for some warm weather, sunshine, and chillin' with some of our family and friends.
Have a fun weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!I hope everyone has a great V-day.
The kids are excited about the day, and looking forward to their parties at school. Tonight their G-Mom and G-Dad (Terrie & Eddie) are taking them out to dinner and the movies.
My wonderful man has given me gifts and brought me flowers this morning. He is the GREATEST ...not only on Valentine's but every day of the year!
XOXO

Happy Monday
We are back home from our trip to Orlando and Daytona. The weather was beautiful, and we had a blast.
We all like amusement parks, but little man is crazy about riding rides. His goals have been to grow to certain heights to be able to meet the height restrictions on rides. He's been at or past the 48" ride restriction for awhile now, then it was on to the 54" restriction. As far as we know that's the last restriction height. Well, little man is now about 52 1/2 - 53", without help that is. I won't go into detail, but he was 54" this weekend and able to ride the roller coasters he's been dreaming of riding. :) First he rode Dueling Dragons at Universal Islands of Adventure then he rode The Hulk. He was pumped and couldn't get enough! Miss Priss wasn't as anxious to be tall enough, she thought she'd just wait on those roller coasters.
Saturday night was the Bud Shoot-Out Race at Daytona. We headed over from Orlando that evening to check out some Cup racing to start off the season. It was awesome! Daytona racing isn't usually too exciting, but this race was great from start to finish. We were excited that Jeff Gordon got up front for awhile...at least he got a good finish. Earnhardt,Jr. was "on fire" all night! Now that he's a Hendrick's team mate we can't help but pull for him too. Taylor was with us this weekend, and this was the 1st time he'd seen the Cup cars race in person. Needless to say, he liked it and is hooked.
Now it's back to school for the week, and we have a conference we are doing the recording and duplication for this week.
Have fun!

Off to Orlando and Daytona
We have been in Woodstock for 15 days as of today...it's time to go somewhere!!!
We decided at the last minute that we would head out of town for the weekend. We all love amusement parks and Universal has some great rollercoasters. There's also a little excitement going on in Daytona too! We're going to go over and watch the Bud Shoot-out.
(Lindsey, don't be mad)
Hope everyone has a great weekend...see you on Monday!

Baby Shower
Last night me and Mom had a baby shower at my house for Melissa Debes Stephens. We had a great crowd, and Melissa got some nice gifts. It's her and Luke's 1st baby, so they needed everything! Baby Gracie is due the end of this month...we can't wait to see her.
Congratulations Melissa! (and Cindy and Dennis too, it's grandbaby #1)

P.S.....
Oh yeah, the Super Bowl was last night too! How could I forget??? That's a woman for you. :) Or at least this woman.
No worries...I won't be forgetting about the Daytona 500 coming up. It's getting closer, I can almost smell it!!! AHHHH, and that is one good smell. :)

It's Monday, Already
The weekend was a blur...lots going on.
It all started on Friday with the Men's Conference at FBCW. Wow, is all that can be said! Over 8,000 men coming together for an awesome conference. Jake was super busy with the recording of the sessions, overseeing the duplication, and all Dad's product sales. I guess I could have been helping, but the "girls" all decided to go out. I didn't want to miss anything, so I went with them. :) Us going out has become somewhat of a tradition while the guys are at the Men's Conference each year. The conference continued Saturday until around 12:30. After most of the men had cleared out I did go hang out with Jake some. The Lord greatly blessed the conference, and we are grateful for that!
Sundays have always been busy days for me growing up in a Pastor's house and they still continue to be busy days. This past Sunday was a full day. We had the priviledge of having Mike Huckabee visit our morning worship services. He gave an awesome testimony of Jesus saving him and changing his life. He went on to say how that was the most important thing that has ever happened to him...how being elected Governor was an honor, but not above his salvation. It was great to hear this from a Presidential candidate. There was lots of excitement surrounding his visit. Mom took some pictures and even one of Miss Priss with Mike Huckabee, you'll have to see those on her blog. Miss Priss always sits on the front row with Mom on Sunday mornings, so this week it was Mom on one side and Mike Huckabee on her other side.
On top of all that BBC was at the church this weekend recording Dad and our services for a special they are putting together about Mega-Churches in the U.S. They had a recorder on Dad from the time he arrived at the church until he left that afternoon. It recorded everything he said and all that was said to him. That so made me want to go up and tell Dad some kind of crazy stuff! I also thought it was pretty funny that it even went to the bathroom with him! HaHa This had all been planned before we found out about Mike Huckabee visiting, so there sure were alot of video cameras and photographers around between BBC and the media.
On top of all the hoopla, Dad had an awesome message. We also were celebrating the fact that it has been 1 year since we started the 11:00 service in the chapel. This week it was jammed packed and chairs had to put in the aisles. We have seen awesome growth and excitement about what's to come.
None of this would be possible without the Lord and His blessing! Our family starts this week being grateful! Grateful not just for a wonderful weekend, but a wonderful life God has blessed us with and great friends to share life with.
